- US SUPLEARS WAY FOR NORIEGA EXTRADITION TO FRANCE
25 January 2010:
-
The US Supreme Court has in effect refused to hear the appeal of General Noriega effectively clearing the way for his return via extradition to France.
-
Late last year President Sarkozy confirmed to me in writing (CLICK ON FILE BELOW) that he would only consider General Noriega pardon when his conviction became definitive. Whilst I do not consider the President has properly applied the Constitution it nevertheless acts in the favour of General Noriega.
-
France cannot really afford a trial and the US Supreme Court has washed its hands of the matter leaving Noriega in the hands of the French.
-
He will thus be returned now to France where he is to be granted prisoner of war status, a place in a proper prison fit for a prisoner of war, and invariable released on bond with the two years plus that he has spent in US Custody counting towards any sentence if of course the French can obtain a conviction.
-
I have some wonderful correspondence from the General all in Spanish. For my part Sarkozy is best advised to grant a pardon as soon as General Noriega is on French soil. The old adage of course (as in Polanski) that an accused must be in the jurisdiction to avail himself to any benefits is correctly apoplied.

Well it is obvious that after an execution as this there would be consequences....Mr Al Majid was ill with cancer and was dying anyway and there was no need to execute him so the response is the following which I say nothing....
- Ali Hassan al-Majid has been executed in Iraq
25 January 2010:
-
Ali Hassan al-Majid,better known as Chemical Ali has been executed. He wanted to die and could not wait to be executed. After his wife and daughter were brutally raped and murdered in Syria his only desire was to die. It is no victory for anyone least of all the Iraqi Government and I can confirm that it was his own volition to be executed refusing the aid of the US Military who would have maintained him in Camp Cropper. He certainly played little part in gassing anyone according to the evidence and his title was made up by a frenzied media that had little else to do but create false accusations. It is a day of shame upon the UK/US and worse still for a morally bankrupt Iraqi Government.

'Noisy sex' woman spared prison
-
A woman who breached an Asbo banning her from having noisy sex has been given a suspended prison sentence.
-
Caroline and Steve Cartwright's "unnatural" love-making prompted complaints from neighbours, a postman and a woman taking her child to school.
-
The 48-year-old, from Washington on Wearside, had earlier pleaded guilty to three counts of breaching the Asbo.
-
At Newcastle Crown Court, she was given eight weeks suspended for 12 months and a 12-month supervision order.
-
During a previous hearing, next door neighbour Rachel O'Connor told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been kept awake most of the night.
-
She said: "The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it."
-
In December, Cartwright, of Hall Road, lost an appeal against the Asbo and an earlier noise abatement order.
-
Passing sentence, Judge Beatrice Bolton said: "I've heard a very short extract of the noise you make and can well see that your neighbours would be upset and distressed by this.
-
"The difficulty here is that the first occurrence was the day following the order. Then three days later you breached it again.
-
"In addition it's quite clear from the small extract I heard that you made no attempt to silence yourself."
-
Ms Bolton warned Cartwright that if she committed further offences of the same nature, she would be sent to prison.

GIOVANNI DI STEFANO: " Some time ago when Prescott was Deputy Prime Minister I uncovered a plan proposed by Prescott compelling, YES COMPELLING, every adult in the UK between 18 and 65 to WALK, yes WALK, a mile a day. I further uncovered a plan whilst Gordon Brown was Chancellor to tax how many windows each house had....if my history tells me right window tax was first introduced under the Act of Making Good the Deficiency of the Clipped Money in 1696 under King William III and caused some riots and opposition to income tax which in fact was delayed for the next three hundred years...now in 2010 a coupled can no longer make love, have sex, shag, fuck, copulate, engage in sexual intercourse call it what you want without fear of the State intervening? Gosh at this rate relationships can fail because there are always three in each relationship, the male the female and the State! A woman makes noises whilst having sexual intercourse in a consensual manner, being natural and without 'acting as some women and men do' and they are punished for their natural behaviour?
-
Art.5(1) of the ECHR says that: "Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person." Liberty OF PERSON that means not just won't be jailed but a liberty of yourself including the right to make love, sex providing it is consensual in whatever damned manner one feels and if one moans, groans, shouts at the pinnacle of orgasm them the State can F off and not interfere.
-
ARTICLE 8 says
-
" 1. Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence.
-
2. There shall be no interference by a public authority with the exercise of this right except such as is in accordance with the law and is necessary in a democratic society in the interests of national security, public safety or the economic well-being of the country, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others. "
-
Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life and that includes NOISY SEX if that is what is natural to a person. You see if you prosecute noisy sex then why not sex that is dull, motionless, without noise? That may equally be annoying as loud sex.
-
I am afraid that with this kind of interference into everyday life the State in the UK is slowly slowly taking over, inch by inch, into governing the everyday lives of its citizens.
-
As for the Cartwrights if they contact me I will take their case to the ECHR free in the hope that private freedoms can be protected instead of being eroded one by one by this dictatorial State known the UK.
- TARIQ AZIZ SERIOUSLY ILL
- 17 January 2010:
-
Further to my diary entry yesterday Mr Aziz is quite ill in hospital and may have had an ictus but I truly hope he will be OK. He remains in hospital but unable to communicate. I will ask the Iraqi Government and the US to allow him to leave for Jordan on a compassionate basis.
