CIA planes by tail number

Roma/London, 11 January 2008: Giovanni Di Stefano stated today that the use of private jets by the CIA for 'rendition' flights must be properly investigated.

He released a document showing the tail numbers of CIA aircraft and the various flights which he said was nothing short of "astounding".

Speaking from Iraq he said "Too much, too often, the CIA and other Security Services act beyond the law for what they say the end justifies the means. I cannot agree. There have to be boundries and the use of unlawful means to achieve a lawful end cannot be justified."
